6/22/2023 0 Comments Cubase 8.5 mac mini quad core i7![]() ![]() If I was working on 100 track sessions every day I would have already found a way to buy a new 6 core MP. When you could be buying an iMac or 2010 MP with loads of RAM/processor expansion possibilities. At which point you should really consider if you can afford to buy a machine with so little RAM. If you want a two monitor set-up then portability can't be your main goal. but it would be just as easy to carry a new MP! I have the same two monitors at home and at the studio so that's kind of a solution. The other minor niggle is that once you add a dock, another USB hub, an audio interface, a couple of external drives, controllers, and those monitors, it's not really portable. ![]() ![]() Yes, it's possible, but, and it is a big but, some projects might be adequately responsive but more RAM demanding VIs and heavier plug ins and high track counts will slow everything down and make the main window and others slow to respond. And I have run 100 track projects with less audio and a lot of Kontakt and other VIs and a lot of plug ins. I have the 2.2 rMPB and run a 28" 4k monitor (over TB/display port) and another old 19" monitor from the HDMI. Don't know about the Henge dock, I have the OWC TB2 dock.
